Levels of Membership
Age Requirements: 21 years or over
Full membership provides the member the right to vote, hold office and maintain full club privileges.
Age Requirements: 30 years or over and single
Single membership provides the member the right to vote, hold office and maintain full club privileges.
Approved at the discretion of the board following a written application by any past full member age 65 or older having 15 years of prior full membership.
Approved at the discretion of the board if the following is satisfied:
An individual age 21 - 30 years
Age associate members shall not vote or hold elective office, but retain the right to attend meetings and have full club privileges, including boat storage. The initiation fee is waived for associate members until they reach 30 years of age. Furthermore, the initiation fee is reduced by 10% each year that a member is an associate member.
Approved at the discretion of the board if one of the following is satisfied:
individual having no permanent or summer residence in the vicinity of
Chautauqua Lake and not making regular use of the club.
2. A member, age 21 years or over, who is a member of the Chautauqua Yacht Club (north end of the lake).
Affiliate members may attend meetings; however, they shall not vote, hold office, or have boat storage privileges.
Age Requirements: Less than 21 years
Junior members may attend meetings, but may not vote or hold office. The parents of a junior member must consent in writing to be responsible for all financial obligations incurred by the junior member and complete a release from any and all liability which may arise through participation of club events.
