Special COVID Regulations


Department of Health POOL USE GUIDELINES for COVID-19 period:

(Stay home if any symptoms or exposure)


Pool, when opened, is for MEMBER USE ONLY

Proper Self-Hygiene required

Use face coverings outside of the pool

Pool area is not sanitized.
Self-sanitize use of furniture after each use
*Disinfecting supplies and trash can provided


USE AT YOUR OWN RISK

PLEASE practice social distancing guidelines
*Unless individuals of same household or family unit


Planters around the pool area are to provide proper social distance between groups

PLEASE DO NOT MOVE THE CHAIRS FROM INDIVIDUAL GROUPS


SWIMMING POOL RULES AND GENERAL REGULATIONS


All persons using the pool shall do so at their own risk. CLYC officers and members of the board shall not be responsible for any accident or injury in connection with such use. Full regulations will be available at the pool and include the following: 

  1. Never Swim Alone. A minimum of 2 adults 18 years of age or older must be present at the pool whenever this swimming facility is in use, with at least one adult on the pool deck 
  2. Children less than 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult responsible for their safety and behavior while at the pool.

  3. No Diving! 

  4. All persons MUST sign in the control logbook upon entering the pool area. Please shower before entering pool. 

  5. Guests must be signed in and accompanied by a member at all times. Member accounts will be billed at $5.00 per guest. Guests are limited to 5 visits per year. Grandchildren swim free when accompanied by members. 

  6. No glass or food in the pool area 

  7. A responsible adult must directly supervise young children in the wading area at all times – they are not to be left alone in the wading area. 

  8. Pool Parties: for children under 12, limited to 12 guests; schedule with Pool Director and/or Junior Program Director. 

  9. The Lifeguard’s decisions in all situations are final. Bring any problems to the attention of the CLYC Board or Pool Committee Complaints should NOT be directed to the Club Staff at any time 

  10. If you are last to leave in the evening please put the cover on the pool. Your help will save the cost of hiring someone to do it nightly. 

  11. There is to be no smoking in the pool area.
